Broadband Upgrade Terms and Conditions

These terms and conditions apply specifically to the broadband upgrade from traditional PSTN (Public Switched Telephone Network) to FTTP (Fibre to the Premises) and SOGEA (Single Order Generic Ethernet Access). They do not replace Inspire Telecom’s standard terms and conditions, which you can find here.

Upgrade Details

  • If you are currently on an 80/20 FTTC (Fibre to the Cabinet) service, you can upgrade to an 80/20 FTTP or SOGEA service free of charge.
  • If you choose to upgrade to speeds higher than 80/20, additional monthly charges will apply. These charges will be clearly displayed in the pricing cards on the broadband rewards page.
  • If you have broadband and phone services with advanced rental payments, these payments will continue to be billed as expected.
  • You can choose to renew your contract at the same time as the upgrade. If you are mid-contract, your existing contract will remain in place and unchanged.
  • You may have to change your router, but we will do our best to cause as minimal disruption to your service as possible. If a new router is required this will supplied free of charge

Limitations

  • The availability of the upgrade depends on the infrastructure at your exchange.
  • Pricing information provided during the upgrade process is correct at the time but is subject to change. Inspire Telecom accepts no liability for any changes to pricing.

Cancellation and Downgrade Policy

  • Please note that due to the PSTN Switch-Off, cancellations are not possible unless you have a careline, lifeline, alarm line, or similar essential service. During this transition period, standard termination fees will apply
  • Once your upgrade is completed, downgrades will no longer be available.
